Comments on the Military and Business Ownership

My military service has prepared me to be a better business owner in many ways. As a Non-commissioned Officer in the US ARMY, I served as an Infantry Sergeant and Civil Affairs Sergeant for a total of 10 years, including deployments for Operation Desert Shield/Desert Storm and Operation Iraqi Freedom. During my service, I worked with diverse communities, cultures, and populations, which taught me valuable skills in customer service, conflict resolution, and discretion.
